Three months later he died in a horrific car accident after driving 120 mph on a flat tire in the snow causing him to lose control and flip five times end-over-end over a quarter-mile during a second manic episode, but it wasn't over as he was revived at the scene. He suffered a serious spinal cord injury and was left paralyzed from the chest down. The recovery was brutal and the author spares no detail about his emotions and what he had to adjust to in this new life. Adam ultimately found true happiness as he started to share his story and struggles through writing by putting everything out there for the entire world to read.
