If these vigilantes had names, Monika and Jabari would be among them. Forced to sacrifice their youth, passions, and each other to fulfill TAAR's mission, they lack clarity for their cause-justice or revenge. The dreadful revelation of the lovebirds' betrayal concludes with immeasurable losses on all sides. The apocalyptic undertones signify a shift towards revolution and ignites the human spirit through its uncanny perspective on love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and the Black American experience.
