Do you have belief in real magic, or is it just a bunch of magic tricks? in this fantasy story, Tom, a nine-year-old boy, knows there's magic! He has an old, "White Owl" cigar box that contains a "cat's eye" marble, a tinted mirror, and several other items. When he holds them over his head, and looks at them, he definitely sees the magic in them. But, Tom just has to know what the magic really is! He gets his big chance when a traveling magician comes to town, with a magic show for the town to see. School is even out! However, Tom's father is "dead set" against him seeing it. Will Tom be able to go? And, will he learn something about his own destiny? This intriguing story is set in the old west. The author, Te'ana Alvin, gives a very different and insightful view of the meaning of magic that will enable the reader to see and appreciate the magic in their own life.
