J'Myla states: "I wrote this book to encourage kids, teens and even some adults that are going through my same life experiences, to know that they are not alone. I also wrote this book for all father's or those that are looking forward to fatherhood one day to understand the important impact of always being in your child's life and maintaining a healthy loving relationship with your child/children. My mother's unconditional love and support is the only reason i'm alive."
