After the room became silent again, she continued, "On Saturday night, Meredith Nash was jumped and beaten mercilessly in the parking lot. While Valerie Waters, the instigator of this awful deed was sent to the juvenile detention center, Miss Nash remains at Oliver Children's Hospital in critical condition."
