Roundup is a western drama taking place in the small town of Roundup, Montana during the early 1800s. Sheriff Potts is a hard-headed, "don't make the same mistake twice" type of lawman who does not accept change eagerly. He is fast to put his life on the line when it comes to protecting his town from the wrong element. His "sidekick" Deputy Clark is younger and more prone to jumping into situations before weighing the possible outcomes. The early nineteenth century brought deadly hardships for those not prepared. It was a time of lawlessness where being out on the prairie unprepared could mean total disaster or even death. When Sheriff Potts hears of the possibility of an old nemesis looking for revenge, can he count on support from the townsfolk whom he has sworn to protect? The action is never-ending from one situation to the next. From outlaws and bank robbers to Indian attacks, somehow they even manage to get in a little romance. And then there are the antics of the towns older generation. There's just never a dull moment in Roundup.
