Videlma Vogel lost her loving husband in the year of 2010 but did not lose faith, hope nor Love. The faith in a sovereign God, the hope of a reunion in the afterlife, and the love for life. As editor of this wonderful book, I could delve and measure the devastating impact the death of a loved one has in the life of a woman. Many times, with a knot in my throat, I transitioned the multiple emotions that assault that person's heart. But this is not a book that creates bitterness. By no means. To those who have lived important losses, it will help with smart reflections and practical advice. And to the general readers it will allow a better understanding for that situation, for sooner or later all of us will have to live the experience of saying goodbye to a loved one. Videlma Vogel believed that adding to this book other people's experiences of losses that happened to some of her friends, would enrich it and she was right. Every shared experience provides a different view, it shows different outcomes that life gives to each person, and leaves a common teaching: That after the dark night of mourning, God always prepares a bright dawn.
