About the Author Doraine Bourne presently resides on the beautiful Marco Island in Florida. She grew up on a farm in Jamaica, West Indies, where she lived with her parents, her brother, and her sister. She attended an all-girls high school and an all-girls teachers college. After college, she taught at an elementary school before migrating to the United States, where she has continued her teaching profession. Doraine has two children: a son and a daughter. Doraine loves to read, write, and cook. She hopes to own an orphanage in the future.
