Leah lived a life of emotional pain related to her bad decisions regarding men, jumping from one bad relationship to another while living the highs and lows of Bipolar unknowingly and getting misdiagnosed by a number of psychiatric practitioners. The book describes her innermost personal moments, suicidal ideation and constant struggle to find a "family" she could feel loved in. Growing up with an alcoholic father and Bipolar mother left Leah feeling broken and was a pathway to self-destruction. After numerous careers and failed relationships, Leah found a truly good man who treated her with respect and unconditional love despite her past.
