And instead, takes you on an intense ride with just the killer, Richard Bates and his camcorder, as he lets the readers in on his own dark and twisted thoughts which lead to his psychotic actions. It all builds up to a very intense ending where Richard will either go down in history as one of the best serial killers, or be remembered as another disturbed teen who tried to make a statement to the world.
