Mr. Light tells his wife that they cannot give up on CiCi, because they love her, and that they must humbly continue to give of their best, because LOVE NEVER ABANDONS. Mr. Light said that many parents believe that change will not come in their children, so they give up easily, without trying to assist them to strive for excellence, as they learn to honor and respect their parents, and their elders. This example of guidance from CiCi's Dad shows how important it is for the Dad to be part of children's lives, because love never abandons and, "UNITY IS STRENGTH".
