Kenton Abasi Mingus gets suspended from school for hitting a teacher and consequently, his uncle feels he can only send him to Africa for two years, to keep a promise he made to his sister and her husband before they died. In Nigeria he finds reading and himself but more importantly, what it means to be a son of Africa regardless of where you are located in the world.
