Donald Twump is in the White House and Americans have a Reality TV Presidency.The world now finds itself, since January 26, 2017 and the publication of Dr. Jay's first book on presidential politics, "Code Blue in the White House: What Successful Presidents Sell Voters to Win Elections," with a Celebrity in Chief in office. The only two Republican Presidents of the 21st century were selected and not elected by popular vote. Only about 53% of the eligible voters voted, and of those, only 25.5% voted for Donald Trump. 26.6% voted for Hillary Clinton. Statistically speaking, therefore, only about one quarter of the American electorate voted for Donald Trump. In Donald Twump's tweet, he stated that "I was voted in by a majority of the American people. The American People LOVE ME." Mathematically wrong, but that doesn't matter to the Tweetmeister. The reality is anything but that.But that is the world according to Twump. He uses tactic number 12 from Code Blue in the White House. In other words, repeat something over, and over, and over again until people believe it, whether it is the truth or not. (And some people will come to actually believe it is the truth. Whether or not the speaker of the words actually believes it to be true or a manufactured lie.) In common reality, it is said that "the facts speak for themselves." In Donald Twump-land, Twump apparently thinks that he, and he alone, speaks the facts themselves.
