She worked with students in Kindergarten through fifth grade in the school library, and then she worked with a reading specialist instructing students in reading. Many years ago, her son asked her, "If you could do anything, what would it be?" She replied, "I would love to write a children's book." Her son encouraged her over the years to do just that. After watching her children and grandchildren grow, she realized how quickly time flies, especially that first year of a baby's life.
