Reseña del libro "A Walking Alleluia: A 30-Day Prayer Journey (en Inglés)"
Father, increase my determination, capacity, and intention to extol you, to notice you, and to pay attention to you. There will be a lot, even today I'm sure, which could either lead me away from esteeming and adoring you OR toward such esteem and adoration. Let not the "worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, nor desires for other things" choke out my intention to be as Augustine said, "A walking alleluia from head to toe." As I do yard work, or watch soccer or football games, visit with folks in our community, or relax, work, do laundry, cook, or piddle, let each pleasure I experience cause me to acknowledge your generous magnificence. Let each foot-tapping piece of music, each laughter-producing story, each satisfying morsel of food I eat, all be avenues of increased adoration to you who "richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment" (1 Tim 6:7-19).
