With a delightful mix of powerful drama, subtle humour, and piercing logic, this collection of poems celebrates the astonishing accuracy of the prophecies found in Daniel 2, Daniel 7 and Daniel 9. In its author's opinion, these dramatic visions perfectly predicted the rise of Christianity, as well as other major events on the way. His introduction takes us through his own journey to confidence in these prophecies, and shares with us his reasons for believing that their accuracy constitutes objective evidence of the God of Jesus Christ. In his view it is an unexpected phenomenon that we cannot account for by any natural or man-made process. The poems that follow express the author's admiration for the imagery and narrative throughout the book of Daniel, and the ingenuity of the writers responsible. They include a poem spotlighting the incredible precision of the Christ prediction in Daniel 9, a poetic interpretation of each of Daniel's monsters, a tribute to the historian Josephus and the philosopher Porphyry, an analysis of Christ's explicit reference to Daniel in the gospel of Matthew, and even a novel and highly defensible account of the strange time phrase in Daniel 7.
