His beat was Europe's most densely populated housing estate, in Walworth, London SE17. Due to the Political nature of the environment and its people, Kevin found himself living a double life through the connections he made whilst a beat officer. The ultimate goal was for a crime free week on what The Sun newspaper called 'The Estate from Hell' Over a six year period, Kevin became a key player in community events and venues and co-owned the Henry Cooper Boxing Gym in the Old Kent Road, was Vice Chairman at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club and Vice Chairman of the LYNN AC Boxing Club.
