It was just a book. It was quite by accident that she discovered the hidden puka that contained the book. Mysterious? Absolutely. But Deborah can't get 'The Book' out of her mind, it keeps calling out to her. So she does what any fairly curious person would do! She starts reading 'The Book'. Living on a space station was second nature to Deborah. It was the only home she had ever known. She is approaching adulthood. By all accounts she should be a happy and fulfilled member of her community, but that's not her reality! She enjoys her job, it's a perfect fit for her. To complicate matters further, her new work partner, Jamie, is fast becoming a very important person in her life! Still, she knows something is missing. She just doesn't know what that something is. Then by a twist of fate, she finds 'The Book' hidden in her quarters. It's unlike any book she has ever read before. It's called a Bible. It's a fairly large book with a lot of chapters. She's never heard of this book before. Why was it hidden? Who hid it there? When was it hidden? Okay, so the who part was easy. A previous occupant of the space must have hidden the book. The why and when, those are the questions that need answers.
